Commencing our business in the year 1985,Mahalaxmi Saw Millhas become a noteworthy Importer, Exporter and Supplier of Wooden Logs in Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu). We offer a wide range of Wooden Logs such as Pine Wood Logs, Sawn Wood Logs and Teak Wood Logs.Mr. Velji Patel,Mr. Vijay PatelandMr. Suresh Patel, the Partners of the company who have more than 40 years of industrial experience, have led the company through many ups and downs and have taken it to towering heights of success.

Our History
We started as the direct importers, wholesalers and retailers dealing in all kinds of timber logs with different sizes that were imported from different parts of the globe ever since the Indian government allowed timber to be imported under OGL (open general license) since 1984. Initially, we started with Malaysia and imported Malaysian hardwoods like Selangan batu, (sal), kapur, dark red meranti, mersawa, etc. Gradually, we started importing wood from Indonesia like merbau, padouk logs from Gabon (Africa), Tali, Beli, Sapeli, Walnut, etc. Other varieties of wood were imported from Central and South African countries like Nigerian teak, Ghana teak, sudan teak. Then, we moved to South American continent and started importing species like Violet, kabukali, tatamu, and also South American teak species like costa rica, panama, Nicaragua, benin, Ivory Coast, Trinidad, etc. Later, we started with Australian species like Kwilla from PNG, radiate pine from New Zealand, and last but not the least our main species, Burma Teak from Myanmar.

We have an enthusiastic team of professionals such administrators, warehousing personnel, quality controllers, procuring agents, skilled and unskilled workers, etc. Each and every employee at the unit is capable of managing challenging consignments and make sure to satisfy clients by understanding their requirements.
